Camilla and Chloe

In chronological order, Camilla Medders (me!) is a reader, writer, wife, mother and public information officer. My daughter, Chloe, was born with spastic quadriplegic/athetoid cerebral palsy in 2003. Chloe cannot walk or talk. She can barely use her hands and she needs a feeding tube to get nutrition. She is also patient, wise, empathetic and beautiful.

It goes without saying that my life changed when Chloe was born. It became harder, more exhausting and more frustrating.  But it’s also more challenging, more complex, more intense and generally richer and better because of Chloe.
